DocStar and our customers shone brightly at the recent Epicor Insights 2018 conference. Nearly 4,000 customers and partners attended the event, and DocStar presentations were filled with customers and others eager to learn more about how DocStar supports digital transformation.
As Tom Franceski, DocStar vice president and general manager, pointed out during his kick-off remarks, AIIM reports that 87 percent of organizations are either planning or are in the midst of a digital transformation initiative. It’s no longer a nice to have, it’s now a need to remain competitive. Digital transformation fundamentally alters enterprise core business processes, using software applications and hardware to streamline collaboration and interaction. DocStar is a flexible and innovative enterprise content-management and process-automation platform empowering digital transformation, so organizations can work smarter to reduce costs and invest in growth.
In addition to the DocStar Insights kick-off, DocStar experts hosted sessions highlighting ECM, AP automation, HR automation, sales-order automation, workflow design, forms design, and tracks focusing on tricks and tips for beginning and experienced users alike. Ask the Expert, offering one-on-one sessions to help users optimize their DocStar deployments, was booked solid over two days. In the Solutions Pavilion, more DocStar experts demonstrated how companies can streamline their businesses processes to achieve greater efficiency and cost savings.
The reaction to DocStar at the Insights 2018 conference was overwhelming. Customer feedback was extremely positive. As Nucleus Research’s Barbara Peck noted in her “Epicor Focuses on Users at Insights 2018” report, one DocStar customer said:
“DocStar has improved our efficiency with its simple process and fully supported services. We had some concerns when it was announced that it was being bought by Epicor, but I can say that it has only gotten better. The capture process is so easy to use, and my staff has had no problems using all aspects of the program.”
If you missed this year’s Insights conference, mark your calendars for Insights 2019, April 15-18, 2019, in Las Vegas.
