Sept. 24, 2018, AUSTIN,TX – Epicor Software Corporation, a global provider of industry-specific enterprise software to promote business growth, today announced it is a returning platinum-level sponsor of the Microsoft Dynamics GP Users Group (GPUG) Summit and will debut new DocStar features for Microsoft Dynamics GP users, including new sales-order entry and sales-order automation functionality in addition to its flagship accounts payable (AP) automation and enterprise content management.

The event is part of Summit Phoenix, which also includes other Dynamics communities, such as Dynamics AX, Dynamics 365, and Dynamics NAV. Epicor will be showcasing DocStar solutions at booth 1203, and on Wednesday, October 17 at 10 a.m., Ray Emirzian, vice president of product management, will hold a summit session on “Digital Transformation with Process Automation.” The session will be held in the Partner Solutions Showcase area.
“DocStar products have a long history with the Dynamics communities and we are increasing our commitment to provide the best business process automation platform available,” said Tom Franceski, vice president and general manager, DocStar. “We help companies grow through digital transformation by enabling conversion to digital processes, which frees up labor and reduces costs. Hundreds of Microsoft Dynamics users rely on DocStar – we listen to them and our latest enhancements reflect what’s most important to our users.”
Organizations, such as Health Food Associates, Inc., face critical issues such as a changing workforce and increased focus on positive customer experiences to extend value. To accomplish this, they are turning to new forms of automation and data exchange. Digital transformation supports growth by lowering costs, improving operational efficiency and accelerating change.
“Once live, DocStar immediately reduced the time spent on invoice transactions, while offering an electronic view of all past and present work in the queue,” said Phillip Campbell, vice president of accounting at Health Food Associates, Inc., one of the longest operated natural foods markets in the nation. “The elimination of paper alone has freed up so much time. In addition to increasing the accuracy of the AP process, we can now spend more time on verifying the accuracy of vendor pricing and other activities that can help the company save money. Plus, manual mistakes have dropped since invoices are automatically coded with individual store information.”
