At DocStar, we strive to make every interaction a fantastic experience. Our leadership team is dedicated to delivering outstanding support every day – externally to our customers, partners and vendors, and internally to our team members. DocStar’s company culture, founded on Teamwork, Recognition, Accountability, Fun and Giving Back to the Community contributes to our positive environment and relationship with our customers.
DocStar’s commitment to excellence has helped us to earn multiple awards such as Times Union’s Top Workplaces 2016, Best Places to Work 2013, 2014 and 2016 by The Albany Business Review, Best Channel Vendor 2013-2016, and a 5-Star Rating from CRN’s Partner Program.
As the Vice President and GM of DocStar, Tom ensures that each DocStar customer has a “fantastic experience” and that our partners and team members have an environment where they can achieve their professional and financial objectives.
Our customers entrust us with mission critical business information and processes so it’s always business first at Astria Solutions. To that end, we ask a lot from our team members, and recognize that we need some downtime to relax, have fun together and do good things for people in need. We’ve created a culture and work environment to provide exceptional experiences to our customers and create long-term relationships with our teammates.
Prior to purchasing DocStar with partners Gregg Laird and Jeff Frankel, Tom was the Vice President of Technology Products for Authentidate Holding Corporation for 11 years. Tom holds a BS degree in Accounting from Le Moyne College.

Gregg is responsible for advancing DocStar’s product leadership as the Vice President of Product Development. Passionate about simplifying complexity, Gregg is on a mission to reduce clicks and learning curves. Previously he held senior positions with Compaq, Digital and EMC where his teams were responsible for designing and delivering software technology programs with Microsoft, Oracle and others.
Away from the office, Gregg escapes to his summer home on an island off the coast of Maine, where he enjoys the sea, sailing, and solitude. A recreational oil painter, Gregg creates a dozen canvasses a year and he says that maybe a few of them are good enough to hang.
Ray is the Senior Director of Professional Services and also oversees our AP Automation practice. He has more than two decades of experience in business process analysis, business process automation, and business consultation working with industry-leading organizations including NCR, Canon USA, and AuthentiDate Holding Corporation.
Ray is not a rock star, but he plays one at home. His only public appearance was at a party for his wife when she received her Master’s degree from Iona College. It caused some guests to cry – he’s fairly certain it’s because they found it touching.
